Please do not travel expecting to buy tickets on the day as there are none available for sale.
Please note if you do not turn up for your booked seats at the booked time, we cannot offer you refunds or alternative seats on other trains. We are Fully Booked on all trains each day.
Museum doors open at 10am for pre-booked Santa ticket holders only. Please check-in at the desk at the rear of the museum shop and then have a great day !

Our latest edition of The Ribble Pilot - Issue 40 has been published (Nov 24). All RSR Members receive their copies by post (3 per year). Extra copies are available in our museum shop at £2. We also have an online edition. We offer an online library of back editions and other publications...
Prototype Deltic - Built in Preston
The prototype Deltic arrived at RSR on 9th August 2012 and is on public view in the museum until at least October 2015. She has kindly been loaned by the NRM. The loco was built in 1955 in Preston, only about a mile from where she is now proudly displayed.
Ribble Steam Railway houses a collection of treasures, including many priceless people. Due to year on year growth, this popular Preston attraction is now looking for people with new skills to join their enthusiastic volunteer team.
