Hudswell Clarke Tank arrives back in Preston  

Former Manchester Ship Canal Hudswell Clarke Tank 'Phoenix', also known as '70' has retuned to it's home at RSR.  It had been away on an extended hire period at Chinnor and then at the Yorkshire Dales Railway in Skipton.  Work is due to commence soon to restore the loco to working condition.  The boiler is due to be removed shortly to allow urgent work on the firebox stays to commence.

It is hoped to see Phoenix back in action during the summer.
