Work on point almost complete

The main pointwork leading to our new building is almost complete, which leaves a short stretch of straight track to install before more pointwork is required to split into the four roads to access the shed.  Large scale remodelling has been taking place to enable the turnout installation to allow access to the shed.  When this obstacle has been negotiated, the run-in to the building should be made easier.  Working in these summer temperatures in our own sun trap, at the most remote point from our facilities is very hard work, and at last we're on the return trip!

S160 Parts Arrive

More components of the RSR fleet of ex Hungarian State Railways S160s have arrived from Bury.  The tender chassis' and a couple of wagons have been unloaded onto site & stored.  The arrival of the remainder of the locomotive components is expected during the summer.
