37s return to Preston Docks

The Pathfinder Railtour "The Guild 'n Docker" will be coming to Ribble Steam Railway on November 19th - Scheduled arrival time is 15:15, with departure @ 16:40.

It's the second railtour to be scheduled to visit the site, and this time is scheduled to be hauled by 2 x EWS class 37s - the first time such a loco has made a return to the docks since the Bitumen trains ceased in 1995.  13 coaches are diagrammed in the train, which will make an impressive sight crossing Strand Road and the marina swing bridge, and moreso on the return up the bank to Preston Station.

The Railway is open on 19th from 15:00 to 17:00, although our own services will not be running, and you will not be able to board the Pathfinder service.  Admission is £3 on this occasion - Our shop & buffet facilities will be available.
