North Eastern Railway 1902 Built in York by the NE Railway, the saloon comprises two lounges, kitchen and toiler.  Restored at York in 1974.  Recently repainted in original maroon with gold and vermillion.  Fully operational with steam heating and vacuum brakes.

LMS Derby 1948 This Queen Mary 20T brake can has been cosmetically restored, and is on display in Grey livery in the museum building.  Has seen occasional use on demonstration goods trains
